Per-room math for the à-la-carte path: certain add-ons (Maintenance Bundle, Housekeeping Suite, Marketplace + Cash, Financial Hub) charge $1.50/room once per cycle when you don't have a tier. Stack three of them and you still pay the per-room fee once, not three times.
